About Katie
Katie is an award-winning broker with 15 years’ experience in lending. A background in finance working within major lenders completing different roles including Business Banking, Bank Manager, Home Lending and more over the course of her corporate career. The exposure to the inside of the banking world has been an invaluable resource of knowledge to provide outcomes to clients as a Broker.
Katie’s ability to think outside the box and look through multiple lenses to find an outcome for a client is what makes her one of the most successful brokers available, years of providing solutions in multiple different markets and climates have given Katie the tools to consistently deliver outcomes for people.
Katie has been personally involved with property development (commercial & residential), Airbnb, Construction, SMSF, investment properties, extensive self-employed structures & vast property portfolio management. Experiencing firsthand what is needing to be considered for all these ventures makes her knowledge indisputable for a successful outcome to a client.
Katie is well known for getting the job done, pushing wherever needed to provide the best resolution for her clients, intense negotiations, and a methodical approach to delivering has been key to thousands of successful settlements for clients.
In her personal life you can find Katie listening to a good local band, enjoying spending time with her family, Husband Josh and their 3 beautiful children, Logan, Mollie & Nalani. Appreciating their latest custom designed home build or venturing into another commercial or residential project. Not one to sit still there is always another project around the corner!
About Maddie
Maddie is an enthusiastic Senior Broker Associate and aspiring Mortgage Broker. She has a strong finance background that will aid in a smooth transition into broking. She also loves making connections with people and supporting them in achieving their personal and professional goals.
Maddie started her career in accounting, assisting local residents and businesses with tax and financials preparation. It was here that Maddie was able to unpack the complex structures of Companies, Trusts & SMSF, giving her inside knowledge that will kickstart her career in the broking world.
Following this Maddie ventured out into the world of asset finance, landing a dealership role with Australia’s largest automotive financier. Her time as a Finance & Insurance Manager saw her form a solid understanding of private and commercial loan application structures, and allowed her to build strong relationships with a broad client base. Maddie thoroughly enjoyed her time assisting clients with vehicle purchases, and looked to take this even further by breaking onto the home lending scene.
Maddie is motivated by the people around her, and loves hearing about their latest venture, both personal and professional.
In her personal life Maddie spends most of her time with her partner, family and friends. She loves getting outside for a walk and a coffee, and keeping up to date with exciting podcasts and books. Originally from a small country town, Maddie is loving being in the hustle and bustle of Newcastle and being close to the water, but also loves a weekend trip back to Clarence Town any chance she gets.
